One of the greatest destroyers of faith is timing that doesn’t fit our preconceived notions. We live in a fast-paced world where we have come to expect instant responses to every desire and need; instant breakfast, instant relief for sore muscles and minor backache. It’s almost our birthright never to fail an exam despite the all-night reading and praying, never to have a broken relationship, Go broke, what about losing a loved one or operating one’s baby at age zero and you wish he never came forth rather than suffering, but God seems to operate in different ways. He is never in a hurry. And sometimes, he can be agonizingly slow to solving the problems we bring to his attention.

But even at this Hope is guaranteed…
